Abstract Guidelines & Submission

Due to time limitation 3 minute oral presentation sessions were canceled.

We invite all authors to submit their abstracts for oral or poster presentations no later than June 15, 2017.

All accepted abstracts will be published in Glycoconjugate Journal, the official journal of the International Glycoconjugate Organization.

Oral presentation: Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected by session chairs. Authors should select the desired session during abstract submission. Abstracts not selected will automatically be transferred to poster presentation sessions. The abstracts will also be later reviewed by academic advisors and may be selected for 3 minute oral poster presentation sessions.

Poster presentation: Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected by academic advisors for 3 minute oral poster presentation sessions.

Guidelines:

Abstract should be written in English
Abstract should not exceed 2000 characters
Indicate the topic and type of your presentation
Abstract should include the title, names of all contributors (without titles), department, institution, city, and country Names of author and co-authors are to be submitted in the following way: First and Last name (example: Michael Jackson)
Contact author (presenter) should submit their email address

Abstract submission deadline: June 15, 2017.

Notification of abstract acceptance: June 30, 2017.

Posters

Poster should be presented at the Symposium during the designated poster presentation session.

Oral presentations

All speakers should show up at the conference hall 30 minutes prior to the designated session time.

Speakers can upload their slides to our prepared computers or use their own laptops. However, all slide materials should be checked at the slide preview room.

Slide preview room will operate from 9:00AM to 6:00PM during the symposium period.

3 minute oral presentations

Those selected as 3 minute poster presentation speakers should prepare slides using the slide template provided by the committee.

The slides should be sent to the committee by July 31, 2017.

The slides will be presented in order, and the next speaker should wait at the corner of the stage to prevent delay of time sequence.

The day and the order of presentation will be notified via email and the speaker should returned this email to acknowledge it.
